Sissy: I live with three men and sometimes I need a little gas-free me time. Know how I can clear the room in 30 seconds or less? By turning on an episode of “Say Yes to the Dress” (I have it auto-recorded). I can then freely enjoy wedding dresses and brides to my heart’s content. It goes without saying that I also love novels having to do with brides and weddings–a hopeless romantic, I am!
Bubby: I’m sure that your boys’ gas clears the room in 30 seconds or less as well…But I too enjoy the fluffy, frilly, lacy side of life. I’ve been to three wedding receptions in the last two weeks and it’s always so fun to see the wedding dress and the cake and to see how happy the bride and groom are together.
Sissy: For those of you who are like-minded, we have concocted a list of I-Do themed books, since June is the traditional month of weddings. Prepare to have your heart softened and your jaded edges smoothed just a bit.
Bubby: And if you’re in a committed relationship, look at how much these brides and grooms adore each other and take a minute to remember why you adore your loved one as well. Happy bridal reading!
