Sissy: Last week we gave you a list of light and fluffy reads for your vacay and summer needs, and this week we have a list of another flavor. What if your literary escape of choice is the mystery genre? What if subconsciously noodling over an intriguing puzzle relaxes your noggin?
Bubby: So we’ve curated for you twelve distinctly different cozy mysteries, everything from murder at a college to untimely death at the Jewish retirement home. There is some magic, a little romance, and a whole slew of twists and turns. Sissy favors the ones with a paranormal element while I enjoy the more wacky and humorous stories.
Sissy : Because I’m more magical and she’s more wacky. Many of the authors below have written sequels to the books mentioned and/or whole series. Be sure to check out their other writings as well.
Bubby: Wacky people have more fun. Next week we’ll be bringing you yet another list of novels –our goal is to keep you entertained wherever you are and whatever you’re doing all summer long!
